Vietjet is set to restore two more routes connecting Hong Kong to Vietnam.

The routes – Hong Kong to Phu Quoc and Hong Kong to Da Nang – will commence at the end of April. The carrier’s Hong Kong – Ho Chi Minh City route will also be increased to daily flights from 26 March.

The Phu Quoc – Hong Kong route will operate from 27 April 2023 with three weekly flights on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Da Nang – Hong Kong route will be in service from 28 April 2023, with four weekly flights on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Vietjet is the only carrier with a direct route between Hong Kong and Phu Quoc. Flights on this route started in April 2019 and were suspended during the pandemic. However, as Hong Kong opens up to increase commercial travel, Vietjet is one of a few carriers which has recommenced or started up routes to the city, alongside the likes of Air India and British Airways.
