JEKTA, the Switzerland-based developer of the PHA-ZE 100 amphibious aircraft, has revealed the first interiors for its economy class and executive cabin configurations.

The interiors will adapt to support a range of applications, including regional passenger flights and high-end tourism voyages. Special mission, cargo, medevac and VVIP interior variants are soon to follow, the developer said.

“We believe these interiors express our ambition of creating a disruptive, original style of travel within a new mode of transport. We have created an elegant cabin for airlines flying multiple legs daily alongside a stylish cabin that adheres to the principles of being environmentally friendly internally and externally. This highlights our commitment to providing a zero-emissions airframe that supports many applications,” explained Max Pinucci, Head of Industrial Design for JEKTA.

Design highlights include thin, modular seating in the cabin and an aft lavatory, which will feature in the first production airframe. The interiors are designed to blend elements from the marine sector, including a wooden-style flooring, and panoramic windows to give a sense of space within the aircraft.

India-based MEHAIR will be the first operator to receive the Traveller cabin to connect communities living around water after confirming a 50-strong order for the type in July last year.
