CFM International has confirmed orders and commitments for 858 LEAP and CFM56 engines which, in addition to long-term service agreements, equates to a total of US$15.7 billion in deals done at the Farnborough Airshow.
Announced on Thursday were deals with Goshawk Aviation Limited and China Aircraft Leasing Company (CALC). The order by Goshawk is for the purchase of LEAP-1B engines to power 20 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, in a contract worth $580 million.
Hong Kong-based CALC, meanwhile, selected CFM’s LEAP-1A engine to power 17 firm and up to 50 optional Airbus A320neo family aircraft. It also finalised an order for CFM56-5B engines to power three firm and nine optional A320ceo aircraft. These two agreements are valued at $550 million.
So far this year CFM has now sold more than 2,200 engines.

– Air Lease Corporation – LEAP-1A & LEAP-1B engines ($3.3 billion)
– Aeromexico – LEAP-1B RPFH ($2.3 billion)
– Jackson Square Aviation – LEAP-1B engines ($870 million)
– TAROM – LEAP-1B engines ($145 million)
– Gol – LEAP-1B engines ($435 million)
– Jet Airways – LEAP-1B engines ($2.2 billion)
– VietJet – LEAP-1B engines ($2.9 billion)
– Seacons Trading – LEAP-1B engines ($29 million)
