Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company announced its plan for growth in 2023 at its General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), with targets including continued volume and efficiency, expansion and establishing Vietjet as a leading airline in digital technology.

The GMS has set Vietjet targets to stay firm on its passenger volume and efficiency; including reaching agreements with aircraft manufacturers Airbus and Boeing to ensure on-time delivery; expanding ground services, training services and digital business; and optimising its operations and financial solutions.

Additional targets include bringing Vietjet to the forefront of digital technology by raising capital to meet development demands as well as prioritising asset growth and financial capability improvement.

The airline has also made plans to expand its current fleet of 87 aircraft to meet its expected passenger volumes, predicting 139,513 flights with 25.7 million passengers onboard in 2023.
