Scoot has signed an agreement with Embraer for its Pool Programme services to support the airline’s incoming fleet of nine E190-E2s. Scoot is set to receive its first delivery of an E190-E2 aircraft in 2024.

The Pool Programme will provide Scoot with access to component exchanges and repair services for more than 300 repairable parts, minimising the low-fare carrier’s investment in high-value repairable inventories and resources.

“This strategic arrangement with Embraer will minimise maintenance delays for the E190-E2, essentially boosting operational readiness,” said Ng Chee Keong, COO of Scoot.

“Working hand in hand with Scoot, we are gearing up for the E190-E2 entry into service next year,” added Carlos Naufel, Embraer’s President and CEO of Services and Support. “We are leveraging on Singapore’s solid aviation ecosystem, and we look forward to Embraer’s modern, fuel-efficient E190-E2 taking the skies in Scoot’s livery.”
