Safran Nacelles has signed a five-year agreement with TARMAC Aerosave for the provision of support for nacelles on aircraft undergoing maintenance at the MRO’s sites in France and Spain.

Under the agreement, Safran will deliver support with maintenance services to aircraft operators and airframers on TARMAC Aerosave’s maintenance of Airbus A380, A330ceo, A330neo and A320neo aircraft powered by CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines.

“I am pleased with this new opportunity to work with TARMAC Aerosave,” said Alain Berger, Executive Vice President, Safran Nacelles. “This company is committed to both maintaining aircraft in operation and to recycling their components. We are proud to contribute to this movement by bringing our full expertise in nacelles.”

“By working together with Safran Nacelles, we are sure of delivering the highest quality of maintenance services on the nacelles of our customers,” added Alexandre Brun, President of TARMAC Aerosave. “What is more, the proximity of our sites will enable swift and cost-effective services.”

Safran Nacelles’ repair services and spares resources are both part of its NacelleLife support programme aimed at keeping aircraft in the best condition for service while minimising costs.
