RwandAir has welcomed its seventh Boeing 737 to its fleet as part of its regional expansion, bringing the airline’s fleet to 14 aircraft – three A330s, seven B737s and four regional aircraft.

The 737-800 has the registration number 9XR-WY and will be based at RwandAir’s Kigali hub. The airline’s customers will be able to choose from 12 seats in Business Class and 144 Economy Class seats.

“The introduction of our seventh Boeing aircraft is another major milestone for us, and I would like to thank everyone who has helped make this possible,” said Yvonne Makolo, CEO of RwandAir.

“We have been expanding our fleet over the past year and look forward to accelerating this growth to offer customers even better service and connectivity across Africa and beyond,” added Makolo.
