Pegasus Airlines has entered a partnership with BAA Training which will see the training company deliver A320 Type Rating services for the Turkish low-fare carrier’s pilots.

The first group of pilot students began training in February 2023, with the second group expected to begin training in May 2023 and a further two groups to launch before the end of the year.

“We are proud to cooperate with such a well-known and big market player as Pegasus Airlines, fulfilling its pilot training goals at the highest standards,” said Marijus Ravoitis, CEO, BAA Training. “Being chosen by Pegasus as a training provider is a sign of recognition for us as the airline owns its own approved training organisation, just like BAA Training, and is at the forefront of the field.”

The students will be trained at BAA Training’s facilities in Vilnius and Barcelona, which are both equipped with A320 full flight simulators.
