Airbus has delivered its first Airbus A321neo to Pegasus Airlines from its new A320 family Final Assembly Line in Toulouse.

This is the first delivery from the production facility and marks the start of the ramp-up in production. It will contribute to Airbus’s objective of producing 75 A320 family aircraft per month in 2026.

Pegasus Airlines currently has a fleet of 93 aircraft, including six A320ceo, 46 A320neo and 41 A321neo. It currently has 68 A321neos on order. Thirty-six of these were placed at the Paris Air Show in 2023.

The original order for 100 A320/A321 aircraft placed by the airline in 2012 has now been increased to 150 aircraft, 108 of which are A321neos. This order will aim to be completed by the end of the decade.

The A321neo is the largest aircraft in the Airbus A320 family and offers operators a 50% reduction in its noise footprint and a 20% reduction in fuel burn compared to previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.

More than 5,600 A321neos have been ordered by over 100 customers worldwide.
