Portuguese maintenance provider Mesa is expanding its service portfolio as Portugal’s civil aviation authority ANAC issues two new certifications to the MRO provider.

Mesa is now authorised to perform an enhanced scope of base maintenance on the Airbus A330 with PW4000 engines. Mesa can also conduct base maintenance on the Airbus A340 aircraft in intervals of up to 48 months.

This A340 inspection will allow the company to undertake more detailed repairs, including an exhaustive inspection of structural components, systems, and other elements.

Mesa performs maintenance worldwide across a range of Airbus aircraft, from A318, A319, A320, A321, A330, A340 and A380. It also services Bombardier CL-600-2B16 aircraft.

Mesa’s main facilities are located at Lisbon International Airport and Beja Airport.
