Two editors’ articles and all four titles (LARA, Regional Gateway, Inflight, and RotorHub) have been shortlisted for awards at the prestigious Aerospace Media Awards 2022, which took place on the 17th July at the Royal Aerospace Society. An incredible evening, one filled with aviation journalistic talent, being nominated is testament to the hard-work and global reach of the editors and the media portfolios. At HMG Aerospace we were delighted to have been included and shortlisted.
The editors shortlisted for awards were:
- Chloe Greenbank, Regional Gateway Editor, “The (AI)port Revolution” – Best Commercial Aviation submission
- Satu Dahl, Inflight Editor, “A Vibrant Market” – Best Business Aviation submission
With years of experience under their belts as writers in the aviation industry, it was brilliant to see both Chloe and Satu nominated for articles within their own publications, and in particular, was a brilliant nod to the growth of female-led talent in the aviation industry as a whole.
The other two titles both had award nominations for two articles:
- LARA – Michael Doran’s “Are you sitting comfortably?”, Best Passenger and Crew welfare submission
- Rotorhub – Glenn Sands’ ‘Getting It Just Right’, Best Rotorcraft submission
