Australia’s Heston MRO has acquired Aviation NDT Services, a provider of Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection Services to the aviation industry throughout Australia, Asia and the Pacific for over 25 years. The acquisition marks a move by Heston MRO to continue its growth as the country’s largest independent total care MRO provider.
“We are very excited about Aviation NDT Services joining the Heston MRO family,” said Asta Zirlyte, CEO at Heston MRO.
As one Heston MRO NDT unit, the company will aim to provide NDT services to existing General Aviation customers and expand its range into the wider commercial aviation marketplace.
“We see solid growth potential to provide services to the larger national and international airlines and defence customers in the region,” Zirlyte added.
The company provides its NDT solutions to a wide range of general and commercial aviation customers across the region.
In 2024, Heston MRO will also obtain CASA Part 145 approval for Rating D services to establish a training ground for NDT career development for its current and new employees.
