American Airlines’ regional carrier, Envoy Air, has added 19 Embraer jets to its order book, with the first deliveries expected to start in 2024.

The orders of these eight Embraer 175 and eleven Embraer 170 aircraft have been made in addition to those announced in 2023.

Six E175 aircraft were ordered in March 2023, alongside seven E175s and five E170s in June, and four E175s announced in October.

This announcement brings Envoy Air’s total fleet commitment to 169 – 126 E175s and 43 E170s.

“This measured, sustainable success is a direct outcome of Envoy’s commitment to safety, quality and cost,” said Envoy President and CEO Pedro Fábregas.

“These three principles are central to everything that we do and enable us to provide safe, high-performing, and cost-effective regional service for the thousands of customers we serve each day for American Airlines Group and its shareholders and for more than 19,700 Envoy employees in the Pacific, North America, the Bahamas and the Caribbean,” he added.

As a regional carrier, Envoy Air provides vital connections to over 160 destinations, with 800 daily flights.
