Deutsche Aircraft has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with an undisclosed customer for four D328eco aircraft to replace its ageing turboprop fleet.

This new agreement marks a key milestone for Deutsche Aircraft and solidifies its position in the sub-50-seat category.

“We recognise that regional connectivity is an important lifeline for many communities around the globe, and Deutsche Aircraft is honoured to support this mission and contribute to regional operations,” said Anastasija Visnakova, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Deutsche Aircraft.

In May 2023, Deutsche Aircraft announced its first launch customer for the new D328eco aircraft, Private Wings. It also broke ground at Leipzig/Halle Airport in the same month for its Final Assembly Line, which will have the capacity to produce 48 D328eco aircraft annually.

The D328eco’s capability to operate in extreme heat and sub-zero temperatures, plus its STOL capabilities and CO2 reduction, sets it apart as a well-rounded, sustainable aircraft.

“The aircraft’s ability to operate in challenging environments – including short, unpaved runways and remote destinations – makes it a reliable, capable and efficient solution for regional operators,” Visnakova remarked.
