CAE and Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) have signed a long-term exclusive pilot training agreement to deploy and operate an Airbus A320 family full-flight simulator (FFS) in Miami, Florida.
The FFS is set to be ready for training in the first quarter of 2024 to support GlobalX’s ongoing growth and the expansion of its Airbus freighter fleet.
“We are delighted to be signing this agreement with CAE to provide GlobalX with a dedicated Level D full-flight simulator,” said John Coomes, Vice President and Director of Operations at Global Crossing Airlines. “We expect to see our relationship with CAE continue to grow as we focus on having the very highest levels of safety in our operations. We greatly appreciate CAE’s confidence in our team and our company by providing us with this FFS.”
