The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has granted French and Toulouse aircraft manufacturer Aura Aero the “Flight Conditions” permit to fly ahead of the launch of Integral S, the second aircraft of the Integral family.

The EASA permit will enable the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) to issue the “laissez-passer” for the aircraft to begin its flight test campaign, ultimately achieving its CS-23 certification.

The second Integral R aircraft, part of the Integral family of new generation two-seater aircraft, will join flight tests in Spring 2023. The Integral family aircraft all have aerobatic capability and are available in three versions; Integral R, which has conventional undercarriage and a combustion engine; Integral S, which has a tricycle train and combustion engine; and Integral E, with a conventional or tricycle train and an electric motor.
