Advanced technology provider Astronics has been selected by Airbus to supply Passenger Service Units (PSUs) for its A220 family.
These updated PSUs will leverage the decades of Astronics’ expertise in developing cabin interiors. Key updates and enhancements include a modern and updated industrial design, the latest LED lighting solutions, and optimised passenger air outlets.
All of these improvements will be done to reduce weight and enhance the Airbus passenger experience.
Discussing this new partnership, the President of Astronics PECO, Nick Stevenson, commented: “Astronics has a long relationship with Airbus, and we are excited to be working in collaboration with the Airbus teams to deliver advanced products for the A220 Programme.”
