AAR Corp. and Moog Inc. have signed two new multi-year commercial agreements, forming a new strategic partnership with room for potential future expansion of the scope and services provided.
The first agreement will see AAR distribute Moog products applicable to mature aircraft platforms to customers worldwide, complementing AAR’s existing product offering and customer base. Moog will also benefit from AAR’s services, including a close customer model, complementing Moog’s mission for further simplification. New York-based Moog is a worldwide designer, manufacturer and integrator of precision motion and fluid controls and systems.
“We are delighted to sign this reciprocal agreement with AAR for aftermarket repairs and distribution,” said Lisa Domanowski-de Jong, General Manager, Moog Commercial Aftermarket Business. “We look forward to continuing to develop our relationship with AAR and build upon these agreements for the benefit of both parties.”
Under the second agreement, AAR and Moog will be able to perform reciprocal component repair services. Moog will offer support to AAR’s component repair facilities on its manufactured piece parts and repair capability, while Moog will receive AAR components.
