Pilot Flight Academy has partnered with IAGO Flight Training to offer and deliver fully integrated training solutions for their customers. Pilot Flight Academy will now be able to offer type ratings and instructor courses beyond their Integrated ATPL program.

PFA’s Integrated Airline Transport Pilots Licence (ATPL) programme is designed around producing
high quality First Officers with significant multi engine time, unlike many other Academies in Europe.
Pilot Flight Academy is one of Europe’s largest and most modern flight academies and is located at
Sandefjord airport Torp and Notodden airport Tuven. The Academy has a large international
environment with 400 students. Frode Granlund, Chief Executive Officer PFA: “We are delighted to
welcome our new partner IAGO Flight Training. PFA is gaining the worldwide recognition it deserves
and we can now offer fully integrated commercial pilot training solutions with this new partnership.”

The Avion A320 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS) deployed to the Avion IAGO Flight Training Centre
at London Gatwick will support this new training agreement. The Avion A320 FFS has the Airbus
Standard 2.0 CEO and NEO configurations available. Designed to also ensure effective and industry
leading UPRT can be delivered, Avion has developed an innovative, best in class simulator training
platform. “More now than ever airlines are seeking flexible, cost effective and trusted training
collaborations. The strengths of PFA and IAGO will combine to provide a first in class integrated
training pathway”, explains James Kingdon-Leach, Managing Director IAGO. Over 20 years IAGO has
emerged as a leading provider of differentiated commercial pilot training, increasingly recognised as
