Boeing 737 MAX order cancelled by BOC Aviation

Aircraft leasing company BOC Aviation based in Singapore, has revealed that it has cancelled its bookings for 30 MAX aircraft and deferred the delivery of some others.

BOC Aviation representatives have been keen to point out that it remains confident in the design and has completed several purchase-and-leasebacks. The lessor along with many of its clients is having to adapt to a new way of operating following the slow recovery post COVID-19 pandemic.

Boeing has only just performed the first re-certification test flight, so bringing 737 MAX a small step closer to returning to worldwide service.
