ALSIM Simulateurs S.A.S., a premium class French company, engaged in design, development and production of state-of-the-art simulators and flight training systems has been awarded a contract by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the design and production of three Flight Simulator Training Device (FSTD) simulators of EASA Flight Navigation and Procedure Trainer (FNPT) Multi Crew Coordination (MCC) level II types for Single Aisle aircraft – Airbus family type in March 2021.

The Factory Acceptance will be performed in Nantes, France and the Installation/Commission at AAI in India (Three AAI Training Centres: CATC Prayagraj, HTC Hyderabad and NIATAM Gondia). The project includes three years warranty followed by another three years of Annual Maintenance Contract.

The RFP was released by AAI in January 2020 and international manufacturers from Spain, Austria and Germany participated.  The three FNPT II MCC Single Aisle aircraft simulators are scheduled to begin service between the end of 2021 and early 2022.

ALSIM fully supports the “Make in India” program and complies with this initiative. Three DIS Integrated Solutions Ltd. (Three DIS), a New Delhi based company, was selected as the industrial partner in India. Three DIS is a brand agnostic organisation specialising in the domain of Civil Aviation and Defence offering a wide range of mission critical airport related products and services at 33 civilian and 59 military airports.

Three DIS will perform a significant workshare including, supply, integration of RSI’s Collimated Visual Display, the complete simulator installation and site acceptances located at the three AAI training centres. Three DIS will also ensure local support for the warranty and maintenance services. ALSIM will provide the detailed modelling of the fifteen specific airports in India as selected by AAI.

The three FNPT II MCC Single Aisle aircraft simulators contract is instrumental for both ALSIM and Three DIS, to participate as a key player in the field of Flight Simulators for all future projects in India and Asia.
