ASL Aviation Holdings and AMETEK MRO AEM have announced a partnership for the provision of landing gear services for ASL’s European fleet. The agreement will provide ASL’s B737 Next-Gen and Classic aircraft with overhaul services and loan gear sets until the end of 2026.

The collaboration builds upon ASL’s existing relationship with AEM, which has been an ASL-trusted supplier for many years.

Speaking about the partnership, Andy Wheeler, Divisional Vice President and Managing Director of AEM, said: “Investment in streamlining our processes, alongside our focus on skills development, means that AEM can ensure sustained repair and overhaul services as the industry’s demand for landing gear services increases and ASL grows its operations.”

James George, Head of Procurement, ASL Aviation Holdings, is confident that AEM will deliver “an excellent service”. “This agreement epitomises the desire for ASL to create strategic partnerships with suppliers of the calibre of AEM.”

George added that the agreement will allow ASL to consolidate the overhaul activity of landing gears across its European B737 fleet while cementing its relationship with AEM.
