Wizz Air has signed a deal with CPaT Global, a provider of distance learning solutions for the aviation industry, to provide its operational staff with a comprehensive suite of training courses.
The low-fare airline’s pilots will receive training on Airbus A320 aircraft systems and a wide range of general aviation topics through CPaT’s comprehensive courses.
Cabin crew will have access to CPaT’s specialised training suite, which includes modules on aircraft systems, safety procedures, and general subjects, as well as interactive 3D cabin simulations.
Wizz Air will also have access to CPaT Invent, a platform that allows it to customise course content and keep training materials up-to-date.
“We have selected CPaT as our new strategic partner to source e-learning content deployed on our Training Management System to further enhance the knowledge competency of our Flight and Cabin Crew,” said Petros Souppouris, Head of Group Training at Wizz Air.
“We train 7,000 pilots and cabin crew annually, most of them belonging to a digitally native generation, and continue adopting and testing new technologies to meet their expectations. We appreciate the well-established market leadership of CPaT, the large variety of courses offered, and their flexible approach to our training policies.”
