Wizz Air has reached the milestone of 100 million passengers having travelled through its UK network.
In celebration, the airline has launched a ‘100 Million Memories’ campaign, where 10 UK residents will have the opportunity to win a GBP100 value voucher in Wizz Credits via an Instagram competition. There will also be an interactive photobooth at Gatwick Airport for passengers to use.
“Reaching 100 million passengers in the UK is an important milestone for Wizz Air in what has been a very exciting year for us,” said Wizz Air UK Managing Director, Marion Geoffroy. “We’d like to thank all our staff and crew for their ongoing hard work and dedication, which has helped us continue to deliver the best service possible for our passengers. The UK is a key market for us, and we’re excited to welcome even more people on board as they look to explore the best off-the-beaten-track destinations in Europe and beyond.”
The milestone has been reached at a pivotal point for Wizz Air, with news of an A321XLR to join its fleet of 17 aircraft and a new route to Jeddah in March 2025 to accompany the addition. The airline also reached its 20-year anniversary this year, and since it began operations in May 2004, it has accumulated 95 routes from its UK hubs.

We are excited about Wizz Air’s continued growth plans and particularly the new long-haul route to Jeddah launching from London Gatwick next spring.”
