Wizz Air has announced a significant expansion of its operations at London Luton Airport (LLA). The low-fare carrier revealed that it has successfully acquired airport slots from TUI Airways, paving the way for a 15th based aircraft and six new routes commencing in summer 2026.

The expansion solidifies Wizz Air’s position as the largest operator at London Luton and introduces the first-ever direct link from London to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

Beginning in mid-June 2026, the airline will launch flights to six new destinations, catering to both sun-seekers and city-break enthusiasts. The new routes include popular holiday hotspots such as Alicante, Faro, and Corfu, as well as year-round services to Lyon and Turin.
