Wizz Air has received its first aircraft with Airbus’s Airspace cabin configuration, which will be implemented in all future deliveries of the Airbus A321neo and Airbus A321XLR. The updated design also makes Wizz Air the first European low-fare airline to integrate the Airspace Standard Overhead Stowage Compartments.

The newly designed cabin has features selected to enhance passenger comfort, such as ambient lighting settings with options for each phase of the flight, modern lavatories, and more spacious and stylish overhead compartments. Equally, accessibility was considered within the design, with braille signage throughout the cabin.

“We are thrilled to introduce the Airbus Airspace cabin to our fleet, setting a new standard for passenger experience at Wizz Air,” said Michael Delehant, Senior Chief Commercial and Operations Officer at Wizz Air. “This refreshed design, with its cutting-edge features and enhanced accessibility, represents our ongoing commitment to delivering the best possible journey for all travellers.”
