Vueling has equipped one of its A320ceo aircraft with a special livery dedicated to the Football Club Barcelona (FCB) Women’s team.
The livery features six players: Aitana Bonmatí, who won the Ballon D’Or trophy for the best female player in 2024 and 2023; Alexia Putellas, who won the same award in 2022 and 2021; Salma Paralluelo; María León; Caroline Graham-Hansen; and Patri Guijarro. Alongside the teammates is the motto “Dream, Play, Fly.”
As an official partner of the club, the airline previously used an FC Barcelona Women’s team livery in April 2024, with the team having won the last five Spanish championships as well as the European Champions League for two years running. The team will use the aircraft to fly to away games, starting with a game in Madrid on 16 November.
The aircraft interior has also been decorated in the football theme, with red and blue headrest covers, decorated overhead baggage bins, and a green carpet on the aisle to resemble the grass on a football pitch.
