Vietnam Airlines has officially inaugurated a new direct air service connecting Hanoi (HAN) with the Philippine resort destination of Cebu (CEB). The launch marks a significant expansion of the airline’s international network and is set to strengthen travel and economic ties between Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
Dang Anh Tuan, Executive Vice President of Vietnam Airlines, emphasised the broader impact of the route, saying: “The Hanoi to Cebu service represents more than just a new route. It strengthens cultural and economic connections between Vietnam and the region, creating new opportunities for travel and collaboration. Vietnam Airlines is dedicated to providing safe, and high-quality services that promote tourism and foster closer ties between the two countries.”
The new service will operate on a triangular schedule:
- Hanoi to Cebu flights will depart every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
- Cebu to Hanoi return flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
