The airline is increasing daily flights from one to two round trips from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Taipei in Taiwan and is adding more flights to the Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phu Quoc to Taichung and Kaohsiung routes, bringing them to once daily. Previously 46 times a week, Vietjet will now operate 81 round-trip flights weekly on nine routes to Taiwan.
The Phu Quoc to Hong Kong route will be increased to daily round trips compared to the current three-times-weekly service, and the Da Nang to Hong Kong route will also become a daily service, as opposed to four-times-weekly. The new additions will elevate Vietjetās round-trip flights between Vietnam and Hong Kong from 11 to 18 times a week.
The airline is expecting a delivery of 10 A321neo ACF aircraft in the second half of 2024. In June, Vietjet announced two new routes: Hanoi-Melbourne and Hanoi-Sydney.
