TAP Air Portugal has announced new routes to the USA, further increasing connectivity from the European country to the States.
The first route is between Lisbon and Los Angeles, starting from 16 May 2025 and operating three times a week until 26 May. From then, a fourth weekly flight will be added until 25 October. The route will be operated by an A330-900.
The second route is between Porto and Boston, commencing on 14 May four times a week until 25 October, and using an A321-LR.
Additionally, from 3 June, the airline’s Lisbon to San Francisco flight will make a stopover on Terceira, creating a direct route to the island from California.
“We are very excited to announce the new flights from Lisbon to Los Angeles and from Porto to Boston, as well as the weekly offer of a direct flight between Terceira and San Francisco,” said Luís Rodrigues, President of TAP. “With these new routes, TAP further strengthens its privileged position in the transatlantic connection of customers who want the best air travel between Europe, the Americas and Africa.”
Currently, TAP operates routes between Lisbon and seven US airports: New York, Boston, Newark, Miami, Washington DC, San Francisco and Chicago, as well as a route between Porto and Newark.
