Sunrise Airways, the Haitian regional airline, has appointed Gary Stone as its new CEO.

Stone is moving from Sabre Corporation, a US travel technology company where he had served as Vice President, overseeing operations with revenues exceeding $110 million.

The airline’s founder and outgoing CEO, Philippe Bayard, takes up the role of chairman, while Jean Sébastien Bayard has been appointed Deputy CEO.

“We are confident that Gary’s leadership, experience, and passion for the Caribbean, alongside Jean Sébastien’s dedication and forward-thinking approach, will play a critical role in strengthening Sunrise Airways’ position as a catalyst for Caribbean integration and growth,” said Phillippe Bayard.

The Haitian regional airline, founded in 2012, operates flights throughout the Caribbean, the United States (Miami) and Central America (Panama) using its fleet of five Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia aircraft.
