ATPL graduates from Skyborne Airline Academy have been hard at work this month, undertaking the first part of their Skills Continuation Training (SCT). The initiative was announced by Skyborne in March 2020 in response to COVID-19, and offers support to graduates in the period between qualifying and securing airline placement to prevent skill fade. The first SCT session involved gentle re-familiarisation with the aircraft and its systems, starting with Visual General Handling, Stalls and Limited Panel (restricted instruments) and Unusual Attitude Recoveries.
