Satys Cabin and regional aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft have announced a joint agreement for the supply of lavatory assemblies for the D328eco turboprop.

The lavatory assemblies Satys Cabin will make for Deutsche Aircraft will be integrated from the design stage in order to optimise assembly during the cabin-fitting process, and the project will be headed by Christophe Cador, the founder and CEO of Satys.

“We are proud to be associated with the realisation of this innovative aircraft, the technical specifications of which attest to Deutsche Aircraft’s determination to reduce the carbon footprint of air transport,”  said Antoine Gaugler, General Director of Satys Cabin.

Patricia Ferrari, Director of Procurement at Deutsche Aircraft, emphasised the importance of the partnership: “The industry and technical know-how that Satys Cabin brings, along with the lavatory assemblies, will advance the onboard product quality which will serve the D328eco. We look forward to our long-term collaboration with Satys Cabin.”

This latest announcement follows on from August 2023, when the Germany-based OEM similarly commissioned Satys Cabin to design and produce the interior fittings for the D328eco. Several suppliers have been announced in recent months, including Latecore as its door supplier and Akaer as its forward fuselage manufacturer. The 40-seat turboprop is aiming for entry to service in Q4 2026, with flight tests anticipated in 2025.
