Satair and SR Technics Malta have signed a multi-year contract for Satair’s Integrated Material Services (IMS) solution to support SR Technics’ base maintenance activities on Airbus A320 aircraft.

The service will be effective from April 2023. It will cover an initial expendable parts scope of thousand of part numbers, comprised of Airbus Proprietary Parts, Standard Hardware and Vendor Parts.

The IMS service offers airlines and MRO companies an end-to-end supply chain solution. This includes planning, sourcing, purchasing and logistics for expendables required in the aircraft maintenance lifecycle (including base maintenance).

At present, SR Technics’ Malta base has three heavily equipped base maintenance lines, including a 1-bay and 2-bay narrowbody hangar.

Jean-Marc Lenz, CEO of SR Technics, said: “We are excited to expand our business relationship with Satair and look forward to continuing reaping the benefits of our long-term partnership in our daily operations and maintenance of A320 fleets.”

“Satair is proud to deliver increasingly specialised supply chain solutions to SR Technics, and engage in even closer collaboration on the operations of their new Malta facility,” added Paul Lochab, CCO of Satair.
