Ryanair is to launch two new routes ahead of winter 2025, adding Malta and Porto to its destinations from Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT), in response to increasing demand for international travel to and from Sweden.
Starting on 26 October 2025, Ryanair will operate GOT–Porto (OPO) twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
From 28 October 2025, GOT–Malta (MLA) will operate two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
“Ryanair’s investment in new direct routes shows great confidence in the Swedish air travel market, and they are an important partner in us being able to offer a wide range of destinations at our airports,” said Elizabeth Axtelius, Director Aviation Business at Swedavia, the state-owned company that owns, operates, and develops 10 airports across Sweden.
