Estonian-based Magnetic MRO is expanding its painting services due to increased demand, transitioning from just summer seasons to full-year capability. The expansion pairs with the company’s new 2,852 square metre hangar, which is expected to be completed this year at Tallinn Airport and can accommodate all narrowbody aircraft types. The renovated existing facility has features such as an adjustable scaffolding system, LED lighting, and a range of painting equipment.

The company’s services will include painting commercial and VIP aircraft, chemical and mechanical stripping, and livery neutralisation. Slots will open up from Q1 2026.

“Up until now, our capacity has been regularly occupied with serving up to 10 aircraft per summer season,” said Rihards Priedkalns, Painting Department Manager at Magnetic MRO. “This expansion will allow us to increase this number by approximately 250% annually. Having a dedicated setting and a well-experienced team enables us to offer our clients various painting services with the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail.

“Having services such as painting at an increased availability serves not only the convenience aspect but also introduces a seamless customer experience, where all other services and expertise combined operate as a one-stop shop, without the need to change the location or company of your service provider,” continued Priedkalns.

Earlier in the year, Magnetic MRO saw the first class graduate from its Zero2Hero training programme.
