Estonian company Magnetic MRO has announced the opening of its fifth hangar at Tallinn Airport (EETN), an expansion that increases the company’s heavy maintenance capacity and is expected to create 80 direct and 240 indirect jobs.
The 8,800 square metre facility has been operational since early January 2026 and features three heavy maintenance bays equipped with specialised tail docks, wing platforms, and access stairs. All three bays are currently active and staffed by the company’s existing engineering teams.
Jan Kotka, Managing Director at Magnetic MRO, said: “The extra capacity at our Tallinn facility lets us scale critical checks, integrate more digital and data-driven processes, and introduce services our customers are asking for, setting a higher bar for turnaround, transparency, and total cost of ownership.”
Future corporate growth will focus on the expansion of engine workshop capabilities and the development of personnel through the Magnetic Academy.
While this investment reinforces Tallinn as the primary hub for Magnetic MRO’s global operations, the company is currently evaluating further geographic expansion.
