Germany’s Lufthansa Technik and Jet Airways of India have sealed a new deal for comprehensive integrated component maintenance for 80 of the airline’s Boeing B737NGs.

An existing total component support (TCS) contract for the carrier’s widebody fleet has also been extended by a further seven years, covering 10 B777s and eight Airbus A330s.

For the 80 narrow-body aircraft the deal covers single components repaired in a closed-loop and flat rate-based process. The TCS contract for the widebody fleet comprises an extensive component pooling-based support for the B777s and A330s. Lufthansa Technik Services India is the supplier’s local presence in India.

The Jet Airways Group currently operates a fleet of 119 aircraft, comprising A330-200/-300s, Boeing 777-300ER, Next-Generation Boeing 737s and ATR 72-500/600s.
