Last A220-300 of the year for airBaltic

Latvian airline airBaltic has received its latest Airbus A220-300 regional jet, the last it will receive this year, bringing its number of the aircraft type in its fleet up to 14.

The aircraft, registered YL-CSM, will be joined by another eight A220-300s by the end of 2019. So far airBaltic has carried over 1,850,000 passengers on the aircraft type and completed more than 17,684 flights, flying over 47,475 block hours.

This summer airBaltic also launched an improved cabin with new seats on its latest three A220-300s.

The airline’s fleet currently consists of 35 aircraft – 14 A220-300s, nine Boeing 737s and 12 Bombardier Q400Next Gen aircraft.
