KLM UK Engineering, a subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M has signed a base maintenance contract with BA CityFlyer.

KLM UK Engineering will provide base maintenance support for BA CityFlyer on its Embraer fleet as part of the long-term agreement at its Norwich facility.

“We are delighted that BA CityFlyer has selected KLM UK Engineering for this long-term casualty / ad-hoc base maintenance support contract,” said Wayne Easlea, operations director at KLM UK Engineering Limited. “We already provide line maintenance support to BA CityFlyer at various UK locations and are pleased to be developing the partnership further.”

Dave Cooper, manager engineering operations at BA CityFlyer commented: “The relationship with KLM UK Engineering is strengthening and we are pleased to be working more closely with them for our ad-hoc and casualty base maintenance needs”.
