inter airport Europe (IAE25), the world’s leading exhibition for airport equipment, technology, design, and services, has revealed three special partners for its 25th anniversary event, taking place at Munich Messe from 7-9 October.
This year introduces a new Charity Partner, Aerobility, alongside returning collaborations with Data Partner Cirium and Knowledge Partner Frost & Sullivan.
Syreeta Tranfield, Event Director, said: “We are delighted to welcome our three partners to IAE25, including our first charity partner, the inspirational Aerobility. Together, they reinforce our commitment to delivering high-impact content and fostering meaningful industry exchange. We anticipate that these sessions will be a popular and valuable addition to our Focus Conference programme.”
Aerobility, a UK charity dedicated to providing the disabled community with the transformative experience of flight, joins IAE25 as its inaugural Charity Partner. Harvey Matthewson, Aerobility’s Advocacy Manager, will champion equal access and inclusion within the aviation industry, spotlighting his vital work with the Equal Skies Charter – an initiative aimed at boosting disability representation in the workforce.
Matthewson is scheduled to speak at the inter airport Focus Conference on 7 October during a session titled ‘Inclusion in the Aviation Sector’. This session will also explore how airports can evolve into more inclusive spaces through physical adaptations, technological innovations, and comprehensive staff training.
Aviation analytics expert Cirium returns as the official Data Partner, offering invaluable data-driven insights into global aviation trends.
Kevin O’Toole, Cirium’s Chief Strategy Officer, will share his expert perspectives on the evolving airport landscape at the Focus Conference. He will participate in a session titled ‘Big Data: Collaboration across the industry’ on 7 October, and also contribute to a session on 9 October, ‘Sustainability: Powering Sustainable Aviation – Infrastructure’, where he will examine the infrastructure developments necessary to achieve industry sustainability goals and the collaborative partnerships required with airlines, fuel suppliers, and technology providers.
Business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan continues its role as Knowledge Partner. It has been commissioned by inter airport Europe to author a white paper titled ‘Innovation Technologies Shaping Future Airports’. This paper will explore transformative solutions and strategic advancements in airport operations, evaluating technologies such as AI, Robotics, Automation, and Digital Twins, with examples of airports globally that are piloting or implementing these solutions.

inter airport Europe is the largest event for airport equipment technology, design and services.
The paper will also provide insights into the future direction of the industry, outlining anticipated technological advancements over the next five to 10 years.
Shantanu Gangakhedkar, Senior Aviation Consultant and Airports Lead at Frost & Sullivan, will present at a Focus Conference session on 7 October, titled ‘Airport Development: Growth and Expansion Plans – What’s on the Horizon?’ This session will explore significant airport expansion plans, their sustainability outcomes, design innovations, and the integration of technology into operations.
Gangakhedkar will also join a second conference session on 8 October, alongside Aasif Bapoo, Airside Systems Lead, NACO, titled ‘Sustainability: How are Airports Being Designed With the Environment in Mind?’ This session will cover quick-win strategies for airports related to energy efficiency, sustainable materials, water management, waste reduction, recycling, composting, reducing single-use plastics, smart technology, and carbon neutrality.
