IndiaOne Air, a regional airline in India, has signed a Letter of Intent for up to ten De Havilland Twin Otter Series 300-G aircraft at the Dubai Air Show. The airline aims to provide connectivity for remote and underserved regions of India, making the Twin Otter Series 300-G the ideal aircraft for the operation, especially at airports with limited infrastructure.

IndiaOne Air is based in Ahmedabad and claims to be the first scheduled airline in India to operate single-engine aircraft, earning its AOC in June 2022.

“The Twin Otter 300-G is the most suitable aircraft for IndiaOne Air as we intend to expand our operations to more regional destinations having smaller runway lengths,” said Wg Cdr Prem Kumar Garg (Retd), Chief Executive Officer of IndiaOne Air. “Its performance, reliability, and versatility align perfectly with our mission of connecting the unconnected and bringing air travel accessibility to every corner of India. We are delighted to partner with De Havilland Canada to bring this proven and modern platform to India’s skies.”
