Heart Aerospace has appointed a new Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Affairs, as well as a new Vice President of Operations.

Cole Randle is the newly appointed Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Affairs, who started at Heart Aerospace in 2024 as Head of Strategic Engagement. In his role, he will oversee strategic planning, executive operations and communications, as well as lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, and build engagement and relationships with media, governments, and the public.

He has previously held roles as a travelling aide to President Barack Obama and as a strategic advisor to Finsbury and Freuds. He has also practised corporate law at the New York and London offices of Freshfields. Randle holds a B.A. in Political Economy from Washington University and a J.D. from Duke University.

“Cole brings a rare combination of strategic vision and operational command to the role of Chief of Staff, driving focus at the executive level while ensuring leadership priorities translate into coordinated action across Heart’s stakeholder map,” said Anders Forslund, founder and CEO of Heart Aerospace. “In deeptech, where scale demands a broad coalition built around technical ambition, Cole is turning Heart’s vision for electric flight into the momentum needed to make the future of aviation real.”

Brittany Churchill will assume the role of VP of Operations, leading production, quality, safety, supply chain, facilities, and manufacturing engineering. She was previously a mechanical engineer and manufacturing executive, having held roles including Production Manager at SpaceX and Senior Engineer at Delta Air Lines TechOps. Her most recent position was as Vice President of Operations for ABL Space Systems (now Long Wall).

Churchill holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an M.B.A. from MIT.

“Brittany embodies American excellence in next-generation aerospace manufacturing,” commented Forslund. “She’s helped drive the culture of speed, iteration, and integration that defines the modern space race, and now she’s bringing that mindset to electric aviation. Her technical leadership will be critical as Heart builds an advanced industrial system to deliver on our mission.”
