Hahnair, an airline distribution solutions company and German airline, has joined the ARC New Distribution Capability (NDC) Advancement Working Group in an effort to improve industry standards.
Established in October 2023, ARC, (the Airline’s Reporting Corporation), is an authority that connects airlines, agencies, and corporate buyers in order to promote best practices for operational efficiency and strong industry partnerships.
The Working Group focuses on topics including simplifying processes for ticket exchanges or enhancing the transparency of fare information. In the past, the NDC Advancement Working Group has been successful in addressing unused tickets, order change notifications and void rules.
“We at Hahnair take immense pride in joining forces with the ARC NDC Advancement Working Group to support driving the adoption of cutting-edge NDC standards across the travel industry,” said Rachel Pascall, Vice President New Distribution at Hahnair. “Joining a collective of forward-thinking industry partners with a wide range of perspectives and expertise, we are eager to participate in the development of standards and best practices that pave the way for strategic NDC-based solutions in the travel industry.”
“We are pleased to have Hahnair’s expertise and broad network of partners join the NDC Advancement Working Group,” commented Paige Blunt, Senior Manager of Direct Connect and ONE Order at ARC. “Hahnair understands the importance of managing the complexities of NDC and is playing a valuable role with their knowledge that benefits the working group as we aspire to establish best practices for the industry.”
