Aircraft seating manufacturer Expliseat has revealed its new TiSeat 2X Lite series, which it claims is the lightest in commercial aviation.
Launched at the Aircraft Interiors Expo, the seat weighs 6 kg, uses Expliseat’s proprietary materials, and is designed for high-capacity cabin use. It has a 28-29” pitch.
The company said it has been chosen by Air France for its new Embraer 190 single-aisle cabins, which offer a high level of comfort for passengers.
“The backrest is thoughtfully designed with additional features, under-seat storage, a PED holder zone, dual-cup holders, and USB ports, addressing the growing demand for advanced, connected, and interactive solutions among modern passengers, regardless of the airline they choose,” said a company spokesperson.
