Digital connectivity company eSIM GO has launched a new product, the Breeze Global Travel Pass, designed to grow customer loyalty and increase ancillary revenue for airlines, airports, and other B2B aviation partners.

The pass uses eSIM technology to offer passengers global data connectivity, which partners can integrate directly into their business model. eSIM GO claims that, by offering in-destination mobile data connectivity, partners can turn it into a loyalty programme benefit or a cross-selling opportunity.

The company says airlines can leverage the Pass to elevate their loyalty tiers, offering global data as a perk to frequent flyers, driving up participation and retention.

The digital travel pass is positioned as an ancillary product, allowing partners to earn revenue by offering travelers an alternative to traditional roaming. This also ensures customers remain connected to the partner’s app and digital touchpoints throughout their journey.

Speaking at the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon, Mitch Fordham, Chief Commercial Officer at eSIM Go, said: “What frequent flyer doesn’t want simple, seamless in-destination connectivity on their travels? It’s what makes Breeze Global Travel Pass so compelling and relevant, and the ideal perk both for passengers who value ease and convenience, and flight crew who need mobile data access when rostered to stopover in different countries. The game-changer here is the single eSIM capability, allowing reliable, year-round data roaming in 130+ countries without changing your profile.”
