The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) has announced the winners of its annual Airline Awards at its General Assembly in Seville. The awards are given for outstanding achievements in connectivity, sustainability, and innovation.
Canary Islands carrier Binter was named ERA Airline of the Year and also received the ERA Regional Connectivity Airline Award. The airline was commended for its significant contributions to regional connectivity, its commitment to sustainability, and its efforts to train future aviation professionals.

Scottish operator Loganair received the ERA Sustainable Airline Award in recognition of its active leadership in environmental initiatives. The judges praised the airline for its concrete steps towards reducing its environmental footprint, including a project to convert an aircraft to hydrogen cell power and its efforts to reduce ground emissions.
Greek carrier SKY express won the ERA Innovation Airline Award 2024 for its adoption of cutting-edge technologies to improve operational efficiency and sustainability. The airline was recognised for its use of paperless cockpits, AI-powered route planning, and commitment to cybersecurity.
An independent panel of experts from industry, academia, and regulatory bodies selected the winners based on their contributions to the aviation sector and their commitment to future-oriented practices.
