Leading European low-cost carrier easyJet has signed a long-term partnership with ELMS Aviation (ELMS) to adopt its leading Competence & Compliance Software Solution (The ELMS Solution), initially in its Part 145, as part of its ongoing digital transformation.

The agreement marks the latest in a string of notable new customer signings for ELMS and is a further endorsement of the value-add that ELMS provides to its customers from a staff development, competence, and compliance perspective. The ELMS Solution will form a key cog in easyJet’s continuous improvement programme, providing the organisation with unprecedented levels of transparency, integrity, and visibility of personnel competence and thus capability on both an organisational and individual basis.

Phase 1 of the implementation has already taken off at easyJet’s Liverpool, UK base, with the wider roll-out of the product at easyJet’s maintenance locations over the coming months.

John Scale, ELMS’ General Manager, commented: “This is a significant endorsement of our product and we are proud to be working in partnership with such a prestigious airline. This partnership along with the support of our existing customers provides a solid foundation from where we will be announcing exciting product enhancements and developments in the coming months.”

Head of Insourced Maintenance at easyJet, Adrian Evans, commented: ‘’As part of our commitment to continuous improvement we are pleased to team with ELMS to provide a streamlined solution for the management and tracking of staff competence and skills development of our part 145 teams.

We are excited to be a part of the ELMS journey and to help develop the product going forward to suit our evolving business needs.”
