easyJet has announced a partnership with dnata, a global air and travel services provider, at Zurich Airport.

dnata, which has provided de-icing services for the airport since 2022, will use the new contract to add ramp, baggage, and passenger services to easyJet’s 3,800 annual flights to and from Zurich.

“We are delighted to have furthered our partnership with easyJet,” said Willy Ruf, Managing Director, dnata Switzerland. “We thank the airline’s team for their continued trust in our best-in-class ground handling services and look forward to extending our successful collaboration. We will continue to invest in our team, infrastructure and equipment to deliver the highest value for our customers.”

The company also operates at Geneva Airport, where it provides ground handling and cargo services to over 30 airlines. In 2023-2024, dnata moved over 90,000 tonnes of cargo between the two airports, assisting eight million passengers.

Expanding availability to Switzerland’s busiest airport, easyJet announced a new winter route from Zurich to Manchester in June 2024, a four-times-weekly service starting in November.
