DTX, a provider of MRO solutions, has announced that it will establish a dedicated CFM56 engine shop at its facility in Sharjah, UAE, with operations expected to begin in early 2026.
Initially, the shop will focus on engine hospital visits for the CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B families, and will eventually develop full overhaul capabilities for the entire legacy CFM engine line.
“This investment reflects DTX’s commitment to offering comprehensive engine solutions for our customers across the Middle East and beyond,” said Hussein Lookmanjee, Chairman of DTX. “By expanding into CFM56 services, we strengthen our ability to meet the growing demand for cost-effective, high-quality engine maintenance.”
